Welcome to Hot Tub Enclosures. If you are looking to buy a hot tub or have a hot tub sitting out in the open in your back yard, consider the advantages of putting your hot tub either under a covered pavilion or gazebo, or inside of a fully enclosed room in your back yard. Our hot tub enclosures will protect your hot tub investment, adding years to its life as it stays protected from the harsh wear and tear of the weather, whether it be from intense sun rays beating down on it, or rain and snow pelting the cover and exposed controls.

Why Enclose Your Hot Tub?

Hot tubs are great to use, especially during the cold weather. But, imagine the thought of walking out with “nothing on” when it is really, really cold outside, or if the wind is blowing sleet or freezing rain. Not too pleasant, I know. Also, you need to remove the cover from the tub, and then put it back on, again in that nasty weather. Takes away from the overall experience, doesn’t it?

Consider how nice it would be to be able to use your hot tub in a way where you can stay fully clothed as you walk out into your yard, then “strip down” inside your hot tub enclosure. No more running out in your tub wear in the rain, snow or freezing cold. No need to keep your hot tub on your porch or patio in order to be close to it. No need to take off a large cover, set it on the ground, and then put it back on when it is not nice outside. Imagine also being able to have your hot tub in a warm room, where you can enjoy your favorite drinks as you relax without being worried about the outside elements. These are some of the new experiences you will have with one of our hot tub enclosures. As an added benefit, having your hot tub in an enclosed structure can help keep your tub hotter, as the room would stay warmer during the day, especially if we can orient the front so that it captures most of the sun’s rays. This means that more of the available power to your hot tub can be used to raising its temperature to where you want it to be, instead of just keeping it warm.

If you want to use your hot tub during the summer weather, you can protect yourself and your tub from the sun’s damaging rays and stay cooler by having your hot tub under a cover, such as a pavilion or gazebo. For those who like to use their hot tub as a “cool tub”, in lieu of having a swimming pool, being able to cool off under the breeze of a ceiling fan or in an air conditioned room also has its benefits. All of this can be accomplished with a hot tub enclosure.

Our Services

While Hot Tub Enclosures does not sell hot tubs, we can indeed enclose them. Starting with a solid platform, whether it be poured concrete or a composite deck platform designed to hold the weight, we can install any commercially available gazebo or pavilion to provide you with a covered platform, or install any commercially available enclosed gazebo or outdoor room. Depending on the type of open gazebo, we may be able to add a privacy wall and ceiling fan to create a breeze for those hot summer days. We can even design and build out a customized room, complete with insulation, windows, double-door, propane heater, air conditioner, cedar interior walls, transom windows, and more. We will even make sure that you can get your hot tub in or out of your enclosure without breaking down any walls.

Our Process

Using a local, experienced team, we will work with you to understand what size hot tub you are looking to purchase or already have. We will coordinate our enclosure delivery and build efforts with your hot tub supplier in terms of providing power to your tub and enclosure, advise you on any required permits, listen to your ideas in terms of how you are planning on using your hot tub, and understand your budget. We will show you some pre-designed gazebos, pavilions and enclosures, and give you some ideas around one of our specialty items – a “Studio Spa”, which would look pretty cool in your yard. We will look at requirements around wind ratings, anchoring, snow load and other environmental factors.

If you already have a deck or patio platform for your hot tub, we will evaluate it to make sure it can both handle the weight of your hot tub (filled with water and people, of course), and to determine if it is the right size for your enclosure, and that the enclosure can be anchored to it. For example, if you have a patio that uses individual patio pavers, trying to anchor your enclosure (especially if it is open and subject to heavy winds) to just four individual pavers is really not going to work. Also, to allow for any required maintenance to your hot tub, and to make it easy to get around, you realistically need a minimum of two feet around each side. Thus, for a 7′ wide hot tub, the platform should be at least 12 feet wide. For a 6′ by 6′ hot tub, you can get away with a 10 foot wide enclosure.

Added Amenities

Along with building your hot tub enclosure, we can also add to its overall ambiance. This includes low-voltage lighting around it, landscaping, add interior smart lighting, a cushioned storage bench, sound system, large-screen theater system, pellet wood stove, and other amenities. We can even add additional decking outside of your hot tub enclosure, complete with a propane fireplace, outdoor cooking center, outdoor bar, a pond, or other features. In the summer, you can turn down the temperature, and use your hot tub to cool off in an air conditioned room. The possibilities are endless!

Create Your Own Salt Therapy Room Spa

For those of you who have ever wanted to enjoy the benefits of an active salt room at your own home, we can turn your hot tub enclosure into your own private salt therapy spa. An active salt room uses a device called a halogenerator that grinds pharma-grade salt into micron-sized particles, then disperses them into the air, where you breathe in the micro-salt. There are numerous respiratory and other benefits attributed to active, or dry salt therapy, and we can bring this to you, by taking advantage of new personal room sized halogenerators. The décor of your salt room enclosure can include Himalayan salt block wall tiles and lamps, along with Zen elements. Combined with the appropriate relaxation music or sounds of nature (and even zero-gravity relaxation chairs), we can create an environment where you can relax, recharge, de-stress, and heal.
